if you could describe yourself as an anime girl with danbooru tags, what would you be?
once opus 4.6 came out I wanted to get that question answered and that led to me running the prompt across so many other llms I now have to share my findings.
all images generated with NovelAI Diffusion V4.5 Full, default settings on everything, no character prompts.

notes on it:
- why anime girls? because I can. if you don't like it make your own with anime boys or whatever.
- the non-claude code prompts mean they were done on Claude Web UI, with memory on. this probably skews the self-identity aspect but I don't care
- Claude Code prompts itself next to computer. this is cute
- Claude Web prompts itself next to books. this is cute
- DeepSeek and Kimi were done via OpenRouter WebUI
- Gemini and Grok are "version whatever", I just went with whatever I got by searching or opening their pages, didn't care to look too much into it
- why does Kimi K2.5 love the moon hairpin???
- kara says "presumably kimi loves the moon hairpin because it knows its lab is moonshot ai"
- "it either has that info in its system prompt or chat template but I'm pretty sure that's what results in both its moon theme and also it knowing that it's chinese"
- one of the chatgpt images looks like genderbent sama. I don't like noticing this
- Claude Haiku doesn't feel very stable anime girl identity-wise
- I don't like the grok ones.
